Welcome to the Holiday Gift Guide and thanks for stopping by. I’ve got some great gift ideas to share with you this holiday season so make sure to check back often. Don’t forget to see what Casey has to offer today at A Couch With A View too.
Calendars are certainly a great gift idea for moms. With our busy schedules and trying to keep track of all of the activities our kids are in and birthdays of family and friends we need them and use them daily. I honestly don’t know what I would do without a calendar. In fact I have one in the kitchen, one on my desk, and a weekly planner! What would you do without a calendar?

Check out this Mary Engelbreit’s Moms Can Do Anything 2010 Weekly Wall Calendar above. It is a weekly planner and monthly calendar all in one. The planner pages are week by week and include a line for birthdays and special occasions at the top. Under that is a space for mom and up to 4 other people. It sure makes it easy to keep track of everyone’s daily schedules that way. Then after the weekly pages is the monthly page which extends about an inch below the weekly planner pages for quick and easy reference. Mini calendars of the whole year in view are at the bottom of each monthly calendar page.
The calendar really isn’t super bulky like you’d think it would be to hold all of that information because they utilized the back of each page. For instance, the calendar goes up to June, then you’d go back to the beginning, flip it over and start from July. so there’s really no wasted space. You won’t even see the other sides either because of the handy little hook that you hang it from. It swivels and the pages just go right behind each other.
I was also sent a Moms Jokes, Quotes and Anecdotes 2010 Day-to-Day Calendar which is perfect for your home or office desk top. Each page has a The Daily Extra which is full of fun little facts and jokes as well as a Mommy Moment, words of wisdom, advice and encouragement. It’s a small 5 3/8 square and you rip each page off as the days go by. Sometimes us moms just need a fun little joke to pick us up after a long day.
Buy It!
